The George Whitefield Program [GWP] which is for men who believe they are called to full-time evangelistic work is conducting its annual training the week of February 24 – 28, 2020.

To apply contact Bill Adams at either: bill@sfoi.org or 020 8133 6955 and then complete the registration page.  Select the “George Whitefield Program – Training Week ’20” as your event: Registration.

The training is designed to provide a foundation of fruitful practical tools to facilitate your perseverance in the work of an evangelist. These topics are covered: Ministry Partner Development [fundraising]; the theology of the evangelist [what does the Bible say about the office of evangelist]; and ministry life [becoming a man of prayer and how the Bible teaches us to respond to the relationships in our life as an evangelist].

Again, the training is for men who believe they are called to or are considering the work of evangelism full-time. This is not training in evangelism, that training is conducted through Sports Fan Outreach events, rather this is training for the administrative & personal aspects of ministry.

There are two tracks: #1: this is required for men who are joining the GWP or men who want to learn the fundamentals of evangelistic life. The week includes the topics of fundraising, the theology of evangelism/Great Commission and ministry life.

To register to attend click on this link and select “GWP – Training ’20” as your event: Register.

#2: this is for GWP evangelists who are already in the program and men whether they are a pastor, evangelist, teach, seminary student or layman, who want to learn the mechanics of preaching often called homiletics. You will have opportunities to have your sermons critiqued. The specific title of the homiletic training is: TBA.

To register for the homiletics training visit this page and select “GWP – Homiletics ‘20 ” as your event: Register.
